i've had it...
I'm not kidding when I say that not two minutes after publishing my last post, I went into the kitchen, and lo and behold, right there on my kitchen floor...was a baby scorpion! I didn't hesitate...I quickly ran to the closet, grabbed my chuck taylor, and smashed it's little brains out! Sorry, that was graphic, but he had no business, in my house. AHHHHH!

I don't have the same feelings for scorpions that I do for mice but I can totally relate to your plight. I recommend checking your diaper bag (or have John do it) to make sure that you don’t have four dead ones in there. It is really disruptive to find them in church. I really have no advice but be brave and make John figure out how they are getting in the house or call an exterminator.
This is scary!! I'm glad you had enough nerve to smash the uninvited, ugly, creepy thing.
Well, Amy reminded me of mice and rats. I think we have one living in our back yard. A cat,(sorry Amy) keeps sniffing around the upper yard.
AAAAHHHH! Yuck. You are brave. Way to go. Yeah, everything changes when you are a mom. The mama-bear instinct has given me the courage to do lots of stuff I'd never done before.
what??!!! scorpions in our neighborhood???!!!! we've lived in this hood for almost 4 years and i have NEVER seen one in or around my house! put ruby's crib leg's in mason jars... scorpions can't climb up the glass and get in her crib. i don't know what i'm going to do if i find one in my house... i might come knock on your door and grab you and your chuck taylor!
