gearing up
This year we won't be going to church on Easter, but rather, listening to our prophet speak to us in the comfort of our own living room. I love general conference, and always look forward to it with anticipation. I am so excited that it falls on Easter this year. I think that conference will make Easter more special, and I think that Easter will make conference more special. Does that make any sense? I look forward to just being able to focus on the Savior and Easter in a spiritual, symbolic sense. Easter mornings are usually pretty crazy at our house...trying to get everybody dressed and ready for church, looking just right in our coordinating attire, getting that one perfect family photo (which never happens, btw), etc. I love that we were able to take care of all of that last week, so that this Sunday - Easter Sunday - we can really focus, and worship, and hopefully be edified, uplifted and rejuvenated. I can't wait.
