day two...

Saturday.
Every Wednesday since Rachel got her mission call, she, Kim, and Jaime, have attended the temple together. They had the privilege of attending pretty much every temple from Ogden to Provo, with the exception of the Salt Lake. It was her desire, therefore, to attend the Salt Lake temple with the whole family, as everybody would be in town for her farewell. We had a beautiful session together, and it was so neat for me to be there with almost the entire family. Unfortunately, Matt wasn't able to get off work in time to join us :(

Afterwards, we went to one of the family favorite's for lunch...Olive Garden. I always order the soup and salad, and love getting alfredo sauce to dip the bread sticks.

Rae and Lincoln

John and I ran home to change, and then headed back over to his mom's house to bake cookies for the open house the next day. I had promised Rachel that I'd make some chocolate chip cookies, some sugar cookies, and that I'd see if Judy wouldn't mind making her yummy oatmeal butterscotch cookies as well. Rachel was paranoid that there wouldn't be enough food...but as it turned out, there was enough to feed thousands.

See what I mean? And this is just the desserts....and not even all the desserts!
