How many times do we have a feeling to do something, or not to do something, and we don't heed it, only to regret it later - sometimes for the rest of our lives. How much happier we will be if we just follow those promptings and not worry about what might have happened. (As you've said, maybe nothing would have happened, but her Heavenly Father has learned to trust her more...as he did you with that cruise.)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6312302214943205505.post-6777348846997060002007-07-09T10:38:00.000-07:002007-07-09T10:38:00.000-07:00I converted the pictures by doing a bunch of diffe...I converted the pictures by doing a bunch of different things, like curves, desaturation, etc. No actions this time. I'm sure your friend thinks of you as a great example, as well. I bet you have touched her life just as sweetly as she has touched yours.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that your post is just what I needed to "hear" today.

Thanks for sharing.

All my best to you, John, and Ruby.Daniellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17096971395012000364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6312302214943205505.post-4861377761128958602007-07-08T13:34:00.000-07:002007-07-08T13:34:00.000-07:00It is good to be reminded of the power of the Holy...It is good to be reminded of the power of the Holy Ghost. We heard a talk yesterday at Bryce's baptism about the blessings of having the Holy Ghost with us. My experience of not listening to that still small voice will always cause a pain in my heart, because John was lying in a hospital with a terrible break in his leg with no relief from pain. I was trying to take a final for a class. I could not think straight or concentrate at all. I finally asked the professor if I could please use his phone to call and see if my children were ok. Scott answered the phone and told me that John was in the hospital. No one could reach his father or me, therefore the doctors would not give him anything for pain. I ran out of the class and got to the hospital as fast as I could. If I had only listened to that warning as I passed the baseball field, I would not have gone to my test. I would have been there to help John. This lesson still hurts me, because of me not listening, I hurt one of my children. That is an important story you wrote, Nicole. It's not so important that we know what if, it is just important that we listen and obey.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6312302214943205505.post-76873838353994603192007-07-07T13:24:00.000-07:002007-07-07T13:24:00.000-07:00nicole, what a great post. i unfortunately have h...nicole, what a great post. i unfortunately have had the experience of not listening to the spirit and ended up with a broken down car on the side of the road. sometimes, it's better to not know the what if's.dianahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08965548635202528876noreply@blogger.com
